Yasmina began her dance studies at age * with ballet, and continued with jazz and modern dance. She became enchanted with belly dance at the age of **, and began her training in belly dance in ****. She has performed over **** shows in the last * years.

Yasmina's experience with Indian music and dance began in Varanasi, India, where she studied the tabla with Pandit Kishan Maharaj and Pandit Prakash Maharaj. She then continued her studies with Sukshinder Shinda, and has toured playing tabla with Jazzy B. and Shinda.

Since then, Yasmina has performed dance on stage with Bollywood stars Sunidhi Chohan and KK. She has performed internationally in the U.K. and in Trinidad.

Yasmina currently performs **-** shows a month at various venues in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland.

YASMINA DANCE PRODUCTIONS:

Various performances are available for wedding, engagement, anniversary receptions, birthday and retirement parties, special events and corporate functions.

Performances can include any of the following:
-Arabic, Hindi, and/or Panjabi music and dance
-Choreography's and/or audience participation
-Egyptian, Turkish or Indian costumes.
-swords, veils, candles, Isis wings.

Vancouver's only male and female bellydance show, includes fire dancing!

Yasmina Dance Company:
This award-winning dance company has performed over ** shows since it was founded in March ****. Book a duo, trio, or group of up to * dancers to amaze and astound your audience!

Panjabi duo show :
Acting and bhangra dancing skit performed by Gursevik and Yasmina. Very entertaining, and perfect for traditional Panjabi receptions and gatherings.
