BIO
Erin Hansen has been performing for over seven years. She began studying the harp at the age of seven, delighting audiences with her advanced technique. In addition to playing regularly in her church, she has played for tea rooms, restaurants, art galleries, museums, banks, Christmas and birthday parties, receptions, over 3 dozen weddings; was a featured musician at the Great Wolf Lodge Snow Event in Kansas City for two years; and currently performs in the Rozelle Court Restaurant inside the Nelson-Atkins Museum and Art Gallery in Kansas City every month.
A harp creates a mood--romantic and blissful--like no other instrument. All the joy, the love, the hopefulness of the occasion can be expressed in the music. On her 44-string Lyon & Healy pedal harp, Erin plays a full repertoire of traditional, classical, sacred, Christmas, & Irish music--beautiful music at reasonable rates.
