My name is Sondra Beamon and I am the owner of sbfreelance. I call myself a painter, photographer and mother. I create original, realistic, conceptual or contemporary murals and paintings on virtually any surface, and engaging, candid lifestyle photography. My specialties are canvas painting, mural painting, face painting, body painting, photography and digital design. I use products that are both friendly to the Earth and all of us on it. Although some materials in my line of work are simply not Earth-friendly, I'm a firm believer in the "reduce, reuse, recycle" catchphrase. I buy locally whenever possible, primarily in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas of North Texas.
I've been drawing my whole life long, and received a bachelor's degree in Fine Art Photography from University of North Texas. Since then I have worked in Marketing and Creative Departments in various positions ranging from editor to photographer to production designer to Project Manager for print and web projects.
I love what I do, and believe that I can create engaging pieces of art out of the most mundane activities and images. I'm not too crazy about trying to "convince" anyone to use my services, so if you like what you see, let's work together.

Face Painting: All types of child or adult parties and events, theatre performances.
Murals: Interior and exterior. Windows and virtually any wall surface. Backgrounds, theatre sets.
