For the last few weeks, she has been entertaining the dinner crowds at Little Italy's newest piano bar and restaurant, MAMBO 'TALIANO performing in duo with Jazz Guitarist Tsuyoshi Furutsu at ALOUETTE FRENCH BISTRO on the Upper West Side singing with her trio at Midtown hotspot TOMI JAZZ CLUB and this summer was selected for both the prestigious METROSTARPETITION and WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE RADIO (WOSR). She's also been keeping busy with a number of private and society engagements at places like the UN PERMANENT MISSION TO INDIA, and the W HOTEL TIMES SQUARE.

Katherine Kerr observes, her singing can soothe the most frayed soul. Her perfect pitch, heartfelt expression, and gentle humor make listening to her again and again a habit. A versatile talent, Alexandra has counted both Quentin Crisp and Prince Charles amongst her audiences and has jammed with Billy Joel. She's been presented by film actor Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), has fronted with Latin bandleader Ray Santos (The Mambo Kings) and concertizes with Broadway star Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd). Alexandra performed as a back-up singer on the televised A Tribute to Max (Roach), featuring Jazz Greats Dee Dee Bridgewater, Eartha Kitt and Harry Belafonte.
From the music of Frank and Ella to Carole and Elton, Alexandra sings and plays it all - Broadway, Bossa, Standards and Pop Classics - in her own special style. The musician who now calls Manhattan home was raised in England. Following her passion for the Great American Songbook, Alexandra won a scholarship in the US and studied with jazz legends Sheila Jordan and Mark Murphy. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance, Summa Cum Laude, from the City College of New York.
