Variety Bands

Each member of our group is extremely well schooled and capable of playing any type of music. The basic group consists of tenor sax, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. We are happy to add additional vocalists, horns or even celebrity impersonators to make this variety band a supremely entertaining addition to your next event.

Performing as a group since 2005, Barry uses only the finest musicians to create the mellow jazz sound that has made this band so popular. Members of the this ensemble have played in New York, Las Vegas, backed A-list entertainers, and done extensive studio recording. The basic group consists of Barry on Sax, Bobbie on Drums, Ron Cole on Keyboards, and Morris "Monk" Barnes on Bass. All four members are gifted singers, and Sound Engineer Tony Ward and his state of the art equipment are always included. Tony doubles as a DJ to keep the music playing even during the band's breaks. After meeting in New York as young musicians, Barry and Bobbie set aside their musical aspirations to raise a family. Now that their children are grown, their love of music and passion for playing are evident in every performance. They regularly perform at some of the area's finest clubs.

This live band has successfully played at birthday parties, weddings, anniversary parties, corporate functions, bar/ bat mitzvahs, casinos and dinner dances. Whether you're looking for upbeat disco or the soul of Motown, we'll be happy to create the perfect soundtrack for your next event.
