A refreshing alternative to traditional cartoon-style caricatures, Bill Friend's fascinating, entertaining and quick technique enables him to sketch a full color pastel profile in only 4 to 6 minutes. Using soft pastels, Bill quickly uses his fingers as paint brushes and rapidly applies and blends the full-color facial features which are then given final details using pastel pencils.
