Accordion Players

Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Simon Shapiro began his piano accordion studies at the early age of seven. He studied extensively, both at the local music school, and under well-known teachers in the area for additional private classes. He continued his pursuit of the undeniably unique instrument and now owns and operates 'Entertaining with Accordion'.

Simon loves to provide live musical performances for every special occasion, from birthdays and cocktail hour, to weddings, receptions, and concerts. Enjoy a melodic balance of cheerful entertainment and background music to add an extra special air of invigoration to your event without music so loud the crowd is incapable of socializing.

Musical Lectures
I also travel to Nursing Homes, Rehab Centers, and Assisted Living Facilities to provide educational and musical 1-hour concert lectures for the residents. I'll work closely with Program Directors and Coordinators to tailor my services specifically to the company's needs and exceed expectations all around.

Audiences are transported to various locations around the world as I engage them in a fascinating musical lecture where I showcase instrumental origins and historical cities. Residents love to sing, dance, and laugh along, and the ability to do so is often very therapeutic and encouraging physically for participants.
