The art of henna is over 9000 years old. It is a tradition that can be used for many purposes: be it a special occasion such as a birthday, or wedding, or as self expression.
I specialize in both traditional and contemporary henna. Personally, as an artist, I pick up on another person's energy as I work on them. Be it a design that held sentimental meaning for one of my clients, or even predicting in my henna what someone would later go on to be. I am a very intuitive henna artist. (For instance, I drew a Japanese design on a woman who later went on to visit Japan and study their language!)
I went to Tennessee Tech University for teaching, and also have a Masters degree in International Relations and a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts. Henna appeals to all different walks of life, and I have been lucky enough to be able to work with Miss Tennessee, Mischelle Vander pool,Judith Bright, Suzani Styles , some big names in fashion, and many various singers and songwriters who chose to express their creativity through my henna. I have done my work in as small as a public library, to even a huge high end department store! Henna is perfect for everyone, every occasion, in any setting! (And is ALWAYS a conversation starter!)
