Martial Arts Demonstrations

We teach Karate, Tae Kwan do, self-defense, child safety and anti-abduction, personal safety and T'ai Chi. Our programs include Little Dragons(age 4-6), Karate Kids(ages 7-12), Family Karate, Adult Karate, CDT(Compliance, Direction and Takedown), and T'ai Chi. Our CDT programs include Know & Go for Kids, Training for Life, and Stun & Run. These are personal safety programs for all ages that teach liability-conscious methods for avoiding, defusing and escaping dangerous situations including car jacking, abduction and rape.

We do fun Karate birthday parties which are a complete package for the parents at a very reasonable cost. We also provide on-site corporate, school and college safety programs nationwide including women's Self-Defense and Executive Safety and Self-Defense.

Silkisondan Karate also hosts a variety of special martial arts seminars in the Richmond area every year to enhance one's martial arts ability in all areas of standup and ground fighting, and self-defense. Another aspect of our business is our extensive online Pro Shop. We sell a complete line of karate, martial arts and self-defense equipment and supplies at discounted prices including uniforms, training gear, books and videos.
