Recently, Silvard signed a recording agreement with Q Records, a subsidiary of QVC, the largest television shopping network. Silvard now makes regular one-hour, live appearances on television during which he performs his music and sells his CD's. During his first two hours on television in August, 2000, he sold over 23,000 CD's. After 6 times on the air, total sales have reached $650,000.

Although influenced by artists such as George Winston and David Lanz, Silvard has a unique and highly innovative style to which he refers as neo-classical contemporary. His piano compositions are uplifting and spiritually energizing, yet relaxing and soothing to the ear. Silvard's music transcends all cultural and religious barriers and is enjoyed by young and the less young.

Silvard, originally from the Netherlands, started playing the piano at age ten. At 18, he left his home country for the USA to pursue studies in Marine Biology. During his undergraduate studies in Myrtle Beach, SC, and his graduate studies in Washington, DC, Silvard kept a busy performance schedule. In 1988, Silvard moved to Boston and was contracted by one of the Nation's leading convention hotels, The Boston Marriott Hotel at Copley Place.

In 1994, Silvard recorded his first piano album, Heartfelt, which features covers as well as original compositions. In 1996, he released his second album, Picture of Time, containing original, orchestrated piano compositions. His third album, Transcendent Voyage, a collection of piano solo compositions, hit stores in 1998. The latter two albums are distributed nationally by Music Design (Virgin) and in Taiwan, R.O.C., by Wind Song Music International. Silvard's latest album features "Freeflow" composed "on the spot" in the recording studio piano solos.

Silvard's music is broadcasted on radio and satellite stations in the USA as well as in countries such as Canada, France, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Panama, and many more. A growing number of health care practitioners, therapists and physicians are using his music for its "soothing" and "healing" quality. In addition, an increase in licensing deals with other record labels and video and film production companies, attests to the wide appeal of Silvard's music.

Silvard keeps an active concert schedule throughout the USA and abroad. A recent contract with Entovation, Ltd., a company providing innovative ideas for business enterprises, has provided opportunities for several national (Texas, Washington, DC) and international (Sweden, Canada, Venezuela) appearances. According to Entovation, "...Silvard's international tour has only just begun!" Highlights of these "Knowledge Concerts" are impromptu, unique "Freeflow" compositions, custom-made for and dedicated to each audience.

Silvard also makes appearances at high end corporate events and private functions, where he mixes his own arrangements of popular melodies (Broadway, movies, standards, evergreens, Top 40, etc.) with his own improvisations and compositions. Clients are saying:
