Thinking Different!
If you haven't learned to be different in 16 years of photography, you are just one of the crowd. Take a moment to think of all the weddings you've ever seen, don't they all look alike?

If you hire a photographer who doesn't take an interest in the couple, doesn't have all the answers, tries to pressure you into signing a contract or doesn't have the time to meet with you personally, then you are just hiring one of the above unmentionables.

It's all about service and a genuine love of telling a story about a very special couple. I will not "book a wedding" unless I am there from beginning to end, otherwise I cannot tell a complete story. Don't you hate missing the end?

To me, every wedding is a different assignment. I want to give the Bride & Groom everything they want and more. Sometimes you have to blend the traditional with non-traditional to achieve a balance which will make everybody happy. Other times it is an all out creative challenge, maybe even shooting all Black & White.

I schedule a final consultation the week of the wedding. By then most of the details have been finalized. During the consultation, I will produce a general time-line to go by. We discuss what photographs the couple want, when the florist will arrive (so we will have flowers for photographs) and what time events will take place. I will not appear out of nowhere and tell you, "It's time to cut the cake" but will work directly with the coordinator of the event so that the couple can enjoy themselves which is what you should do on your wedding day.
