I am all for fish bowls on the table. I think its very cute and gives the guest something to enjoy. Afterwards you could give them away to either children or whom ever. You could use betta fish, with the peace lilly in them and put colored stones in the bottom of the vase. At Wal-Mart in the craft section they have the vase and instructions on how to make the arrangement. I hope this helps.

I have an aquatic fish garden from a wedding that was in a garden and it was absolutely beautiful. They had the care instructions taped to the bottom of the chair and when it was close to cutting the cake, they announced that everyone feel under their chairs and it congratulated us on receiving the centerpieces. It was nice. None of the fish died, the water was very clean and clear and I had my fish for almost 2 years now. I must be doing something right!
