I am getting married this Sept & my theme is butterflies. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of butterfly centerpieces I could have? Something that is not too expensive. There will be about 20 tables. I prefer not to have floating candles, I would like something unique.

As far as centerpieces....check with a florist...I know sometimes we have gotten arrangements with a small butterfly above the greenery...attached to a wire. Maybe you could do a vase with a single butterfly and flower.
I am also having a butterfly themed wedding (also in September!) for my centerpieces I have a silver hurricane lamp holder w/ glass candle taper holders (3 tapers in the whole centerpiece) and I worked 3 butterflies on wires (got them at my local craft store) and attached them to the greenery.

I have a sample design in Red, white and black with butterflies on my web site it is on the stemless flutes but of course could be done on any of the items.
