Gary has lived in the Northwest twenty-nine years (born a mile from Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California). He began his creative journey as the school artist (all grades), he spent countless hours drawing cartoons, animals, people and wild hot rods. He had an equal love of sports and popular music. In high school (Southern Oregon), he was the drummer in a rock & roll band, then an air personality for the local teen radio station. But after a couple of years at the local college Gary needed to move on, Seattle was beckoning.

Gary's energy, along with his background in music and radio, propelled him into the "glamorous" and exciting world of recorded music promotion. After graduating from college with a degree in Communications, Gary returned to Seattle. As a commercial photographer in the Seattle area since 1985, Gary has taken his skills to a much higher level. And by jumping into the digital realm about eight years ago, he has steadily increased his value to the business community.

Portraiture Categories - Anyone in school, business, sports and home can use a good likeness of themselves or their group for a variety of reasons. Over the span of 20 years, Gary has made thousands of portraits for executives, students, pets, children, families and couples. The big change in the field is the advent of the Digital process. Weddings - We love weddings!! And It Shows. While you are celebrating and socializing with friends and family, Gary and his assistant photographer are busy saving the details, the smiles, and the special moments, for you to experience again and again.

Pets and Animals - Great pet portraits do not happen by accident. It takes alot of patience and being good with animals... Mastery of composition and technology will also be beneficial. Afterall, unless they are asleep, pets do not stay still for more than 1/60 of a second.

Children - With over 20 years of experience with children in front of his camera, Gary knows how to get the most out of each session. It can be 20 seconds with Santa Claus or over an hour as a model-to-be. He has successfully captured the best of children less than a year old, youth sports to high school seniors. After that, we would consider them adults.

High School and College Seniors - High school senior portrait sessions are truly unique. No two are alike as we incorporate fashion, glamour, fine art and the latest trends in portrait photography. Models, Performers and Actors - We are one of the few Seattle studios that specialize in Model portfolios. Do not be fooled by standard portrait photographers. It is not the same style or technique.

Actors and Musicians - Actors and musicians have one common requirement, good publicity stills. Headshots have been a specialty of Gary's from the beginning. For music performers the most recent request is for CD cover photos. For a "major label" look we recommend that these images be treated like fine art and not a headshot or group publicity shot.

Executive Portraits, Jobsite Activities - Jobsite activity photography costs vary depending on the complexity of the job and the camera equipment required. Building project progression photos billed monthly as per contractual agreement.
