Starting harp lessons by the age of six, Tomoko has devoted much of her life to the melodic passion. She earned her Masters in Orchestral Performance at the Manhattan School of Music, after achieving a Bachelors in Piano and Harp Performance from Chapman University.

She's an acclaimed Harpist that has played with the Pacific and Honolulu Symphonies, as well as the Center Orchestra, Tanglewood Music, and Manhattan Virtuoso. Winning an Excellence in Diversity scholarship from the LA Philharmonic and receiving the Anne Adams award, Tomoko is both a seasoned and accomplished musician.

TV appearances include "A Different World", "Temptation Island", "Dateline", and "For Better or Worse". Tomoko is well-acquainted with the art of performance and atmosphere, and even played for the "Empiricist" soundtrack. Never slowing down for a moment, she is also a proud member of the National Music Honor Society, Pi Kappa Lambda, the American Harp Society, and the Music Teachers Association of California. Tomoko teaches and is also a co-founder of "Harp Duo", whose first CD, "Harpsody", is now available for purchase.
