Every couple is unique, with different needs, tastes and preferences. Your wishes for most any kind of rite will be accommodated--from traditional Christian to secular/ nonreligious, to services with a Native American bend, Handfasting, or any combination you desire. Together we will find the words to help you create the spirit of your day, your way. Last-minute ceremonies can often be accommodated.

Vows/Ceremonies

I'm happy to go over others with you during our initial consultation. I also welcome any ideas you wish to share.

Rev. Leah Light trained with the Center for Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, and received her ordination from the Church of Inner Light in 1992. She is currently affiliated with Universal Ministries, a non-denominational, interfaith church. Her ministry includes teaching meditation classes, providing individual spiritual counseling, intuitive readings, Reiki healings, and performing marriage ceremonies.

Last Minute Ceremonies
Another option is offered for those couples who just want a simple no-frills "justice of the peace" or elopement type of ceremony, though much more warm and personal than what you could have at the courthouse. For very small wedding parties, I am happy to marry the two of you in my office, which is set in a pretty, woodsy area on a creek. As an Oregon Wedding Minister, I will provide the required two witnesses, too, if you wish.
