Mehndi Madness offers a full range of henna services. We offer both appointments in our private studio as well as traveling to participate in your parties and events. Our design collection includes traditional styles from Indian, Arabic and African cultures, as well as a wide variety of more modern designs, custom work and tattoo styles such as astrological, kanji and celestial. We offer everything from fairies, dragons and roses to your children's favorite cartoon characters.
We use only natural Henna that stains the skin a beautiful brown/red color. Never the harmful and illegal black dye often referred to as Henna. If you'd like your designs a black color, we offer Jagua, also a safe and natural dye. Jagua is a fruit from the Amazon and stains a blue-black color. Like henna it only stains dead layers of skin and fades away after a few weeks. You can find a complete description of Jagua, history, FAQ, how it works...on our web site. Henna and Jagua Tattoos for Parties and Events
We specialize in offering multiple artists for larger events and give those extra special details to smaller ones. We have a specifically designed book that allows us to do medium sized pieces very quickly so we can get to a lot of people in a short amount of time.. This book changes every year to provide the most in style and variety. You can veiw up coming events, profiles of our current artists, pricing for groups, parties and individuals, class descriptions and gallery photos on our web site. We are proud to work with several wonderful companies and organizations on an ongoing basis including several Parks & Recreation depts and local library programs. We have participated in events with Starbucks, Microsoft, T-Moble, Macy's, and the Seattle Times. We can be found at a large number of festivals in the Puget Sound area such as Folk Life, Bite of Seattle, Bumbershoot and the Fremont Solstice Celebration. We are dedicated to our community and enjoy being a part of it. Our blog is dedicated to our community service work so if you'd like to know more, please visit the site.
