At Skip Matthews' Digital Services (SMDS) Photography, it is our mission to capture you and your loved ones as accurately and as sensitively as possible. Though we may give suggestions about photographs, our intent is to capture memories, not poses. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities. We will be there for as long as it takes, never charging an hourly fee, because we understand that it takes time to get that perfect shot. We will take as many pictures as we need to, never charging by the pose, to show things in the way that you intended. We can also make arrangements to travel to your wedding destination if necessary. We also retouch your pictures, never charging an airbrushing fee, so that you will look and feel your absolute best. Also, because we use digital cameras, we will never charge you for black and white or sepia photographs. We want to work with you to get the effect you desire.

For wedding photography, we want to be there from the beginning so we can go on this journey with you. From engagement sessions to compiling albums, we facilitate it all. We want everything to have your touch, your personality. We are happy to include any photographs you would like in your albums so they are an accurate portrayal of your journey. We will try to make it to as many events as you would like; engagement parties, getting the marriage certificate, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinners… We want you to be able to look back and enjoy all the small details of your journey and with photography, these memories will be timeless.

About Skip Matthews
Skip Matthews is a Renaissance man. He has his PHD in chemistry, worked at Intel Corporation, sat on the board of directors for eDigital, and is an inventor to boot. However, his passion is photography. From the time he was a young man, he bought every camera he could afford and tried to capture the diverse world around him on film. After retiring from Intel, Skip spent a year or so playing golf. Then he decided that he would finally pursue his passion for photography.
