Central Jazz Service is a jazz band located in central Pennsylvania’s capital region. CJS is currently accepting bookings for weddings, galas, corporate events, and other special occasions.

Central Jazz Service performs in central Pennsylvania and nearby Maryland, including Harrisburg, Hershey, Camp Hill, Gettysburg, Mechanicsburg, York, Lancaster, Frederick, and Baltimore. We are a group of experienced musicians who love jazz and enjoy playing for special events.

The focus of Central Jazz is on playing music that has a broad appeal yet retains a true jazz flavor. We play a standard jazz repertoire and emphasize service: you will find us reliable, professional, and courteous.

Central Jazz features Tim Wolfe on saxophone and Peter Grahame on guitar. We play in trio and quartet formats (duo and quintet also available). CJS’s rhythm section (bass and drums) includes dedicated and talented jazz musicians from the Mid-State.

Central Jazz Service provides live jazz for a variety of occasions, including parties, weddings, anniversaries, galas, conferences, corporate events, festivals, banquets, and cocktail hours. We also do coffee house and pub appearances.
