PARTY-STYLE CARICATURES
Judy, a self-taught caricaturist (and formally educated graphic designer), has always loved to draw people in particular, with a knack for capturing a flattering resemblance. As a natural extension of her talent for portraiture, she has developed a unique caricature style, which are in essence “cartoon portraits”, either headshots, or large heads and small bodies (but decidedly different from the over-exaggerated style that can be grossly inaccurate in portraying a person’s distinctive features).

A down-to-earth social and friendly person, Judy provides enduring keepsakes and a less ostentatious form of fun to any event, small or large. She has a tendency to make people feel at ease, while they pose for her artistry and enjoys people gathering around to watch. After all, her specialty is not only to provide personal souvenirs or keepsakes, but also to provide a distinctive form of entertainment.

Since 2002, Judy has drawn at numerous private gatherings such as Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, birthday and graduation parties, corporate picnics, holiday parties, weddings, open houses/grand openings, post-prom /project graduation festivities, college events, charity fundraisers, festivals and even nightclubs, and has drawn along side some of her fellow caricaturists for some larger events. If more than one artist is needed for your event, she can secure or refer them for you.

If you have a definite date or event in mind, please contact her at least a month prior for best chance at availability, especially during peak season (typically May – August). One-third deposit is required to confirm date.

Presently, she does the drawings on plain or custom border paper only, but is willing to draw live on t-shirts and hopes to offer custom designed color border paper as well, for private events only.

CUSTOM GIFT CARICATURES/MEMENTOS
Judy also creates more detailed, gift-style caricatures and sign-in boards (see gift/sign in board samples at lower left) in various sizes from photos. Most gifts are provided with coordinating color mat (12 x 16 to 18 x 24). Sign-in boards are drawn to size and mounted or drawn smaller and digitally sized, enhanced and printed then mounted, and can be laminated if desired (18 x 24 to 24 x 36). Fifty percent deposit is required up front.

Utilizing her graphic design expertise, Judy will soon be able to provide other custom party products or favors featuring caricature/theme such as invitations, candy bar wrappers, place cards and thank you notes, welcome posters/signs, DVD case labels, photo album cover inserts/mounted art, souvenir/commemorative t-shirts, cakes, magnets, mugs, water bottles, mouse pads and jigsaw puzzles, all with the guest of honor in detailed caricature form. Some items may only be available in quantities larger than 50 and all are priced upon request with payment upfront required.

Please call her or email her with any questions, orders, or booking and/or price requests. Please allow a few days for pricing, and at least 6 weeks for gift caricatures/sign-in boards. Upon verbal agreement of booking confirmation, order form or booking agreement will be completed and mailed to you to review, sign and return with deposit; if working on a caricature from photos and/or necessary, rough black and white sketch will be scanned and emailed, or copied and mailed for approval, before final art is created.
