I picked up my first camera when I was 16 years old. Since that day, photography has been the passion of my life. I started in black and white film photography, and now utilize digital technology.

I love lines, curves, contrast, simplicity, and beauty. I love the beautiful belly of a mother-to-be & the wonderful wrinkles of a newborn's skin. I love life and I love people. All portrait sessions are by appointment, allowing plenty of time for fun, creativity, and breaks when needed by baby or child. The appointment also means that once you arrive you won't have to wait, and you will never be rushed. Kathryn and her staff are extremely patient and flexible when photographing babies and children and we enjoy it immensely.

My sittings are very different from what you may have experienced in the past. I schedule two hours for your session. I spend from 45 to 60 minutes (and sometimes more!) shooting from 75 to 150 images. I encourage clothing changes and pose changes, while other studios limit them. I allow for breaks when needed by the children for play, snack, feeding or nursing.

A slide show of your session is then immediately available for you to view and make your selections. As sometimes occurs with other studios, you will never feel rushed through a sitting at my studio and you will have my full attention for the entire time you spend with me. When it comes to free sittings, I think that you get what you pay for.
