Hello,
My name is Mimi Pettibone (no, it’s not a stage name!) I am a licensed hair and makeup stylist with 10 years of experience working on shoots. My background and skills span a wide range, from working with high-profile and corporate clients such as Microsoft VP’s, Governors and Political figures, to the very creative and eccentric projects such as short films, music videos, and character spoofs.
Most of my work is in television (shows and commercials), corporate videos, film, and print advertising.

I also love to do vintage looks of any kind, both hair and makeup.

I have a lot of experience with wigs, and have done everything from very realistically re-creating an actor’s hair after he cut it (before we knew there would be a re-shoot!), to some outlandish wigs for Teatro Zinzanni and funny characters for "The John Report with Bob".

If you need fx, I was the department head for a feature film entailing many zombie-inflicted injuries, including: bruises, blood, cuts, gashes, and – oh yes – zombie makeup. I also do facial hair, beards, moustaches, fake tatoos & peircings, and custom wig styling & design.

I will create looks for you based upon the shooting medium: Digital, film, black & white, color, Hi-Def or Lo Res.
