Belly Dancers

Known for her delicate yet passionate style, musical interpretation, and engaging stage presence, Mirah Ammal is a professional Middle Eastern dance performer, choreographer and instructor. She specializes in raks as-sharki (belly dance) and folkloric dances of the Middle East.

Mirah performs for weddings, parties, special events, festivals, cultural events and educational presentations, and she dances regularly in Twin Cities area restaurants. She also offers special packages for women's parties, bachellorette parties and bridal or baby showers. Mirah will work with you to create a fun and beautiful experience for you and your guests, uniquely tailored for your event.

Mirah also teaches regular classes, workshops, and private individual or group lessons. Mirah has studied with top dancers from Egypt, the U.S. and Lebanon, and in her own teaching, she emphasizes a physically and mentally healthy approach to the dance. She also encourages positive body image and self-acceptance by helping her students explore their femininity and inner grace through the dance.
