| Congratulations on your engagement! I hope you will make an appointment to discuss your wedding photography needs. |
My love affair with photography began when at age twelve I developed my first roll of film. Since then, I’ve pursued every possible photographic experience. Starting out as a staff photographer for my high school yearbook and graduating to become my family’s photographic historian (I’ve photographed every “Scheele” family reunion). Studying under renowned fine art photographers such as Al Weber, David Vestil, Howard Bond and Alan Ross for the past 23 years, I’ve honed my skills in both film and digital camera formats. I have also studied portraiture with Bobby Lane at several photography workshops in Sante Fe, New Mexico. My printmaking experience includes B/W, Color and Gum Bichromate.
As a card carrying member of the WPPI Association, I’ve been in the Wedding and Portrait photography business since 1994. I truly love being a photographer at one of life’s most major milestones. Capturing a moment in time (the tears, smiles, glances and joy) to be relived for years to come by the wedding couple.
Recently, I’ve incorporated a more contemporary wedding style to complement the traditional in digital format. I can provide a minimum of 300 4”x6” prints; un-retouched, high-resolution photos saved to CD; customized (retouched) photos and albums to suit most any wedding budget. I am available for wedding or portrait locations from Estes Park to Colorado Springs and everywhere in between.
