Mezzo-Soprano, Jennifer Kosharsky is admired for her beautifully warm, uniquely colored voice, which features exceptional range and flexibility. This young artist also brings a strong stage presence and expressive artistry to her performances. A Depaul University graduate, she started her musical career as a professsional flutist. She has over 20 years musical experience and has appreared in operas, concerts and musicals in the United States and abroad in Europe.
Most recently Jennifer has won recognition for her vocal talents as a finalist in the Marcella Sembrich Vocal Competition in New York City. Additionally, Ms. Kosharsky is a two-time regional winner for the national MacAllistar Awards (Chicago), a semi-finalist in the Tito Gobbi International Competition (Italy), a semi-finalist in the International Giovan Battista Velluti Competition (Italy) and as a finalist in the Union League Civic & Arts foundation Vocal Competition (Chicago).
