A little about Andrew Lautenbach: With a mellow sound and style inspired by the greats of cool-jazz, Andrew has carved a unique niche in Chicago's current scene. Andrew began performing professionally while still in high school, playing with local jazz and blues groups in his hometown, Green Bay, Wisconsin. After living in Germany for a brief period and working with various bands, he moved to Chicago in the Fall of 2001. Since he began his career in Chicago, he has performed with greats such as Bobby Broom, Kenny Werner, Phil Woods, Slide Hampton and David Liebman, and has played in some of Chicago's finest venues including the Jazz Showcase, the Green Mill, Green Dolphin Street, Andy's, Pop's for Champagne, Pete Miller's and many others.
