At her first wedding reception, with a professional camera thrust into her hands, Jayd heard the key words of photographic wisdom from her mentor. They would come to guide her picture taking philosophy: "The key to a great picture is to let it happen."

Jayd has the wonderful ability to capture spontaneous and intimate moments, creating pictures that embody the character of her clientele. One mother of a bride said, "This is the most beautiful picture I've ever seen of my daughter. It looks like her! It captured her spirit so well. I can't thank you enough!"

Jayd believes in getting to know her clients so that they are comfortable letting their personality shine through on the big day. She creates new ideas for formal portraits based her clients' individuality rather than relying on reusing the same poses over and over again. One groom commented, "During our wedding day, Jayd understood what we wanted. We encouraged her to be creative and experimental, which she was able to accomplish with great success."

Jayd's technical knowledge of light, fondness for color, and liberal exercise of creativity make her an excellent documentarian.
