Cooking by the Book, the original culinary team building authority blends personalities and palates to perfection. These unique cooking events bring colleagues and co-workers together through dynamic interaction and team building. Cooking by the Book offers hands-on culinary team building, off-site events and venue rental for all your special events, receptions, demonstrations and meeting needs in the metro New York area. The TeamBuilder is a three-hour hands-on culinary event from start to finish. The hands-on cooking segment lasts about an hour, depending on your group size and the menu. Each team member receives a personalized chef's apron; we divide your group into smaller teams that work directly with our professional chefs to prepare items from a three-course menu, using only premium quality ingredients. Our high chef-to-team member ratio ensures distinctive, personal attention. When the cooking is completed, team members retire to our art-filled dining area to enjoy a gourmet meal with seasonal wines. Or bring your in-house team building facilitator, and/or work with our consultants in a full day TeamBuilderPlus program to develop strong, cohesive and results-driven corporate teams. Our chef instructors also take their culinary team building expertise on the road - to hotel banquet rooms, meeting locations, corporate commissaries and conference facilities. Our customized programs fill needs for corporate diversity and other human resources initiatives, summer associate parties, partner celebrations, new business solicitations and much more.
