The sound of the musette accordeon is distinctly European. Ms Scogin performs hours of French and Italian music on the accordeon. From French and Euro- Gypsy Jazz at French Fashion shows to Italian folk music in rustic villas, the accordeon can set a European ambiance at a classy affair or belt out polkas at a serbo-croation wedding!!
Ms Scogin also performs Irish dance music, Armenian music, Cajun, Ukrainian and Mexican cumbias to name only just a few cultures. Please contact if you have have a style or culture not listed. As an ethnomusicologist Ms Scogin has traveled around the world researching accordeon music.

Ciambella's musical director is Rebekah Scogin, BA, MA, a graduate of UCSB's Masters program in Music who has been performing and teaching in Santa Barbara for over ** years. Ms. Scogin will work with you to pick the perfect music and musicians for your event. Our musicians are classically trained experienced artists, selected for their professionalism and versatility.
Hal Kopeikin accompanies Rebekah for most holiday shows. Hal has played guitar and bass for over ** years, and performed holiday music with Rebekah for *. Hal's state of the art midi guitar emulates many other instruments - sax, flute, trumpet, etc. - adding surprisingly richness and tonal range.
