Andrea Correale started Elegant Affairs with the notion that she could provide top-shelf food and fabulous party planning better than anyone working in her field today. She started in a small kitchen space, just enough to make her mouth-watering menus and soon, she was buying and gutting an old plumbing warehouse to hold her staff of 40, a large culinary kitchen with walk-in freezers and enough space to welcome clients for tastings. Today, Andrea is a favorite of the Hamptons Summer-Set for everything from backyard barbecue to chic Weddings that make the society pages. Elegant Affairs is now the exclusive caterer for the historic club The Players in Gramercy Park as well as the Mansion that houses the Nassau County Art Museum in Long Island. Andrea also manages a growing list of corporate clients who count on her for everything from catering meetings to helping them organize large-scale events and galas. Her Gourmet Foods-to-Go menus are the favorites of clients who need a little help in the cooking department, but may want to plan the party themselves.
