Raquel Con Bolero Y Mas
Raquel con Bolero y Mas is a versatile band consisting of highly professional musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area. They can be hired as a duo, trio, quartet, or sextet. They can play salsa and Latin dance music or background music.
The band is lead by Raquel, a two-time award winning singer, songwriter and best performer from **** to ****. She received great reviews from San Francisco Art magazine and Latin Beat magazine. Please check her bio and hear samples of their music at www.raq.com .
The band plays mostly at private parties, weddings, festivals, restaurants, prestigious hotels and casinos. They played for a year on Princess cruise ships in the Caribbean and Mexico and have appeared at Cache Creek and River Rock casinos, the San Jose Jazz Festival, and the Claremont resort among other locations.
Here are some combinations of groups that you can choose from:
DUO: Flamenco guitar and percussion; guitar and bass; piano and percussion; piano and flute/sax, etc. (Latin music, Flamenco, and Jazz)
TRIO: Jazz or Latin Jazz (piano or guitar with bass and percussion)
QUARTET: Singer, piano, percussion, and sax/flute (Salsa, cha-cha-cha, bolero, and Latin jazz)
QUINTET: Same as Quartet with bass or congas (Salsa, cha-cha-cha, bolero, and Latin jazz)
SEXTET: Singer, piano, timbales, bass, sax/flute, congas (Salsa, cha-cha-cha, bolero, and Latin jazz)
