Stagecrafters offers interactive Murder Mystery Dinners for all special events in and around Colorado area.

Stagecrafters provides single evening, overnight, or weekend shows of murder and mayhem with actors mingling among your guests as they attempt to solve the crimes. During the production, one or more murders occur and clues are divulged to help the amateur sleuths. The performance will involve substantial interaction between and among the actors and audience. Guests enjoy the pursuit of the killer. They are allowed to live out their Thomas Magnum, or Mrs. Fletcher fantasies without the fear of personal injury or danger. Your establishment will take on the atmosphere of an authentic mystery novel. Our mysteries can be produced in any setting: a private home, restaurant, hotel lounge, a train, banquet hall, and even the finest ballrooms. This entertainment package is ideal for a business conference, social clubs, or fund raising activities. Theme parties are welcomed like the Roaring 20's, Westerns, or Masquerades.

Stagecrafters will produce an authentic DEADLY DECEPTIONS murder mystery adventure written specifically for your organization's event. We provide props, production logistics, and publicity consultations, as well as professional actors who will infiltrate and blend with your guests. All you need to do is provide the victim and additional suspects.

SINGLE EVENING PRODUCTIONS SYNOPSIS
Guests arrive and are greeted by the "House Detective" who informs them that he has been hired for the evening due to some suspicious activities. The guest receive a "Deadly Deceptions" solution sheet to help them keep track of all the facts for this evening's mystery. The professional actors will be filtering among the participants very carefully to avoid suspicion. Throughout cocktails and dinner confrontations breakout between the suspects (actors) and the victim. The altercations can involve blackmailing, embezzling, or maybe a former love interest that helps disclose clues to the guests.

After dessert, the murder will occur (stabbed in the chest with a knife, shot, poisoned, you name it and we'll kill you!).

Our "House Detective" arrives at the scene and takes charge of the investigation. He questions everyone on the scene as no one is above suspicion. Clues are revealed and suspects identified. The chase is on! Once all the finger pointing between the suspects is concluded the guest will have the opportunity to actively conduct their own investigation and question opportunity to actively conduct their own investigations and question the suspects. Solution sheets are gathered, reviewed and a winner is chosen. The Detective then returns to announce that he has solved the crime. He arrests the suspect(s). Following the conclusion, prizes are awarded to the sleuth with the most detailed and accurate answer.

Works great as lounge entertainment, party spicier, or convention entertainment. Performance time requirements: minimum is one and a half-hours with a maximum of three hours. Guests can work as individuals or teams to solve the crime.

OVERNIGHT/WEEKEND PRODUCTIONS SYNOPSIS
The guests and actors check into the hotel and receive a detective kit. Later the first night they gather for a cocktail party to get acquainted. The rules of the game are announced and the mystery starts. At some time during the evening the first murder has occurred and the sleuthing starts.

The "House Detective" comes in and begins the investigation. Other actors are strategically blended into the crowd to appear as husband and wife, brother and sisters, or just friends. None of the guests know who the actors are as the pose as "Deadly Deceptions Mystery" participants. After an evening of clue searching and questioning, the group retires for the night.

The guests gather the following morning for breakfast to discover that yet another victim has fallen to foul play. The plot thickens! After extensive questioning by the detective the group is free to investigate on their own, enjoy hotel activities, or visit the surrounding sites.

This brings us to our mid-day high tea (This is optional). While everyone gathers to recap the day's events an ear-piercing scream is heard down the hallway. The guests' race to the scene to discover that another guest, perhaps their breakfast companion or chief suspect has been killed. The detective gravely announces, "We have a murderer amongst us!" Questioning continues for awhile before the guests return to their rooms to dress for dinner.

The highlight of the weekend is the evening meal. While guests dine, they keep a watchful eye on one another. As they dine and dance the lights dim and the final murder victim falls. The remainder of the evening is spent compiling notes and piecing together the mystery.

The group retires for the evening and returns for brunch the following morning with their solution sheets filled out and ready to turn in. After the solution sheets are gathered, the detective then sums up the events and solve the crimes. Suspects are arrested and the grand prize is awarded to the guest whose answer is the most detailed and accurate.
