LARRY DUFF - Drums, Percussion and Vocals Bringing the groove and pocket alive is Larry. A stage, studio, and touring expert, having been a session drummer for the Ichiban Record Company in Atlanta. . He has brought what he learned from his mentor and World-Class Drummer Billy Cobham To his own style of drumming. He is the drummer in the Movie and on the Soundtrack “The Color Purple” having the honor of working with Quincy Jones. He can also be seen in the church scene of the film. Other artist he has appeared with are James Taylor, Andre Crouch, Al Jarreau, Chaka Kahn, Curtis Mayfield, The Chairmen of the Board, Bill Pickney and The Original Drifters, David Sandborn , and many others, Larry lays down the drive and groove that is the foundation of Youz Guyz. Larry’s “silky smooth”vocal style is masterful and a MUST SEE! Larry is also our James Brown inpersonator, you will think the "God Father of Soul" is in the house when Larry does his thing.

TONY REYES - Bass Guitar and Vocals Began playing guitar at thirteen due to listening to my father play in mariachi and cumbia bands, after his gigs he would jam with his buddies playing traditional Latin music while drinking tequila (they would record themselves and then listen to the recordings the next day to laugh at how they sounded!). I was in various school musicals: Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell playing the lead roles. At seventeen I began playing the bass in various rock bands. In my mid- twenties in Providence, RI I was launched into the blues scene with "MD and the All Night Vigil", "Smokin' Bill Zink and the Rhythm Rockets". I played primarily in the Northeast from Maine to New Jersey. I had the pleasure of opening for acts such as Buddy Guy, Duke Roubillard, Roomful of Blues, Ronnie Earl,James Montgomery,and Sleepy Lebeauf. For the past eleven years I have been involved in various music projects in S.C., performing with the Beaufort High Voices for the 2005 inauguration in Washington, D.C., various church orchestras, blues/rock band "The Riff Kings", beach/boogie and blues "Ocean Highway", modern rock "Fat Daddy Johnson", classic rock and southern rock "Josie's Wail". My influences range from Beatles, Elvis, Stanley Clark, Herbie Hancock, Rob Zombie, Sex Pistols, Andre Segovia, Tito Puente, The Staple Singers, Joni Mitchell, etc... Tony brings it when it comes to playing the bass. His bass lines and solid groove make you just want to jump out onto the dance floor. Just when you thought the song was over BAM!!….he hits you with another solid groove. Tony has many years of experience as a professional bassman / singer. He has toured with the regional band the Rhythm Kings before being recruited by Youz Guyz. Wait till you hear him sing, his vocals and humor make him another WOW, must see!

ADAM RUSSELL – Lead Guitar and Vocals Bringing his smoking hot lead guitar riffs and solos is Adam. Adam slugged his early years on the Jersey shore with the bizarro pop group Finster, playing original aggressive melodic rock; following Finster's finale, he sat in as hired gun for various acoustic coffee-house hipsters, Dead cover groups, and the occasional bluegrass jug band. Adam's love for everything musical has made him well versed in various styles from jazz to funk to blues, and will play all your favorite classic rock licks to boot! He is another very talented member of Youz Guyz. JEFFREY ROSE – Rhythm & 2nd Lead Guitar, Vocals & the triangle Jeff, has been immersed in music all his life. Jeff's dad and uncle played in a popular Charleston band back in the 70's. Jeff started into music at and early age as a roadie....helping to set up and take down equipment for his dad. Jeff use to help out during rehearsals and use to enjoy the live music. Encouraged by is mom, Jeff began his formal musical training at age 8 learning to read music and play the trumpet . Over the years he was selected for a number of stage bands and orchestras. By his senior year in high school he was honored as one of the best trumpet players in the state. From the age of 10 Jeff developed a love for the guitar and singing. Today Jeff is a fixture in the Charleston music scene, having played many different venues in the region. Jeff is frequently requested, and known for playing benefit concerts for several local charities annually. Jeff musical influences are quite diverse such as Wilson Pickett, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bill Withers, Steppenwolf, Temptations,Creedence Clearwater Revival, James Brown, George Jones, John Anderson.....just to name a few Jeff’s soulful expression can be felt in each and every performance. Jeff enjoys playing great music and entertaining audiences. His distinctive vocals are a real crowd pleaser and another MUST SEE!
