Louisiana Dry Ice and Shipping Co; LLC was officially created when the owners of Southern Sweet Potato Pie Company, a local bakery that produces pies and cakes landed a contract with the Home Shopping Network (HSN, HSN.COM). We were chosen by the bakery because no other local company had the knowledge of dry ice and the packing experience needed to supply a large national vendor.

Because of the continued packaging and shipping services needed to supply HSN, our office is now located inside of that same bakery building. We have since extended our services to other businesses and the general public.

We also provide dry ice to one of New Orleans' most prominent and respected universities for use in their chemistry department as well as the general public. We are the only 24 hour provider of dry ice in the greater New Orleans area. This service is provided for businesses or individuals in emergency situations where dry ice is a must have coolant. Another product unique to our company, are ready-to-use frozen gel packs.
