Mike was born in Scranton, PA. He began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Music at the age of 10. He was former member of a Scranton/Carbondale area band called "Straight Arch" and another called the "jeffery James Band." Mike Played piano, guitar, organ and horn parts, which really enhanced the group's sound. His outgoing personality both on and off stage added great excitement to the evening. It was in 1990 he began his solo act "Clipper." His musical knowledge of the entertainment industry helped him form "Strasburger's Entertainment."
