Nathan Kepner - Stage and Close-Up Magic - Magicians & Magic Shows
Nathan Kepner from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been internationally recognized with titles such as the 2005 Lance Burton Teen Stage Champion.

His fast-paced, 1940's swing -style act has won him several other awards and gained him the honor of performing at a variety of venues such as the "Abbott's magic GetTogether" in Colon, Michigan and the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. He has been performing magic for over a decade, and entertains at everything from intimate close-up events to large-scale stage shows. In 2003 Nathan became a student of Master Magician ICE McDonald and has had the privilege of performing along side him on "RG Smith's comedy and Magic Tour" in 2006. Currently Nathan is studying at Penn State University, and he continues to perform throughout the year.

"The Jukebox Act"
This is the act for which Nathan has gained international recognition. Roughly nine minutes in length, the jukebox act is a fast-paced throw-back to the 1940's and involves the appearance of a saxophone, a ghostly clarinet floating and dancing across the stage, skilled manipulations of sheet music and music notes, and much more. Nathan has featured this act at conventions across the country, a tour of Pennsylvania and the Penn State Presidential Tailgates. The jukebox act is an excellent piece to incorporate into evening shows or have open for a theater event.

Stage and Stand-up Shows
Nathan's stage and stand-up shows are a great way to entertain guests at business events, private parties, public events, street fairs, and any other large gathering. These shows can be tailored to the specific venue of your event, whether it be on stage, outdoors or anything in between. His performances include a variety of magic from doves appearing from thin air to the sleight-of-hand featured in his jukebox act. Key to the entertainment value of the show is his highly interactive style, which leaves the audience laughing throughout the performance. Past clients for Nathan's stage and stand-up shows have included Fry Communications, Carlisle First Night, Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, and Hershey Medical Center.

Close-up/Strolling Magic
This magic is intended to entertain guests while they mingle or before they dine at a variety of events. Such performances include effects that occur right in front of the guests and often in their own hands, which creates a much more intimate experience. Nathan regularly performs his strolling magic at Penn State University events such as the Presidential Open House, the Presidential Tailgates, faculty banquets and alumni reunion gatherings.
