Mahvash fell in love with photography when her father gave her a camera for her fifteenth birthday. Her great eye for subjects of all kinds—people, places and beautiful objects, came naturally. Now, with over twenty years of experience, Mahvash brings her unique, sensitive approach to every subject, style and mood. Her intense dedication to excellence comes through in everything she does. In portraiture, or family photography, Mahvash is wonderfully talented at making people look natural, because she makes sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. Mahvash is an award-winning photographer with a M.F.A. in photography from Brooklyn College. She currently freelances for City Guide Magazine, New York City, Vella International, Masca Studio (still-life & fashion), and Silken Antique Design (jewelry). She has freelanced for Chester Higgins of The New York Times and Larry Barnes of Business Week.
