My philosophy is constantly strive to achieve aesthetic images that creatively express the energy, reflect the emotions, and capture the unique character of each individual wedding.

My style of photography can be compared to my personality, candid, natural and a little bit cheky.

Like myself, my career has been somewhat unconventional. In the mid 90's. While my husband and I were living in Mambasa, Kenya I had opportunity to become an assistant photographer covering safari camp brochures in the Masi Mara.

In 1999 we moved to Hawaii and I officially started my career as a commercial photographer. It wasn't until 2001 that I found my calling in wedding photojournalism when a friend asked if I could photograph her wedding. I found myself gravitating more towards weddings than my commercial photography because I really enjoyed interacting with people on a personal level.
