Animals for Parties

My parents bought my first donkey when I was about 10 years old. The cost of the donkey was $25 and I named her "Hobo". I rode her everywhere, including local parades Four years ago I decided to get a donkey once again as a pet, so I adopted "Melissa" . I decided Melissa was lonely, so a few month later I adopted "Blackjack". It was love at first sight for both of the donkeys, and they have been together since that first day. After some time I thought it would be fun to give rides to children at the local street fair in Palm Springs, so I started that venture in Jan 2005.

The rides were so popular with both children and adults that I added another donkey "Sasha". This was followed by a mule I named Drifter, and finally a mammoth Donkey I named Toby.These were good for larger children and adults. Some, but not all, of our donkeys are rescue donkeys. I continued to be at the street fair until June 2008 when I decided to leave the street and only do private events.
