Wings of Love, Inc. (a not-for-profit corporation) is comprised of 20 rare rainforest birds that do tricks, talk, educate and entertain all ages. An enormous eagle-owl, toucans, all types of parrots and a pollinator roller skate, ride bicycles {one on a high-wire}, compete in basketball, hip-hop and break-dance, drive vehicles after checking under the hood, golf, bowl, spell words, raise the flag and many other things.
Bird-day parties are totally awesome as the Star of the show – the birthday child - does magic tricks with birds and many other interactions with the birds, including birds dancing when we all sing 'Happy Birthday'.
Schools love the Safety Program which remind children to wear a helmet while bicycling, wear knee pads and helmet while rollerblading, etc. Curriculum tie-ins are a must as creator Yvonne Patterson is a horticulturist and rainforest photojournalist who utilizes these incredibly beautiful birds as a unique way to remind people of all ages the beauty of nature and why we should protect it.
Churches & Scouts love our Birds of Faith Bible study which has a dozen birds in it and pre-selected avian passages. Youth discover live birds in the Bible; the Pastor reads scriptures throughout the program and birds perform, talk, and audience participants do fun things in the show.
