My specialty is the photojournalistic (candid) style of photography. I want to capture the essence of the event -- the mood and feel of it. I will do the obligatory posed shots with the subjects, family and friends, etc. But the best shots are those of people simply enjoying themselves. My job is to make people feel comfortable with me being among them with a video or still camera pointed at them. I want them to just act as if I'm not even there.
