Hi. My name is Ken Fields and I am Maui Island Portraits. I have been a semi professional photographer since the early 1970's. I have done studio portraits, weddings, parties, children, pets, small product and real estate photography. Lately, I favor taking pictures of landscapes, flowers, sports and, of course, people. Maui is a wonderful location for natural setting portraits.

I enjoy working with people and aim to make the portrait session light-hearted, playful and fun. You will find yourself creatively engaged in the process and having a good time. When you receive the CD of several dozen images, you will be pleased with the results and glad you took the time to capture some special moments on this delightful tropical paradise island of Maui. For, as it is said, "Maui No Ka Oi!" (Maui is the best!)

The cost of a natural setting portrait session varies between $150 - $350 depending on number of people in the group.

Regardless of which portrait category you choose, you receive:

  • pre-session consultation

  • One location, with a variety of settings and multiple poses. Couples and family sessions generally include individual shots as well. A change of clothing can be an option if desired.

  • A collection of quality images (often several dozen or more) on CD mailed to your home. The CD contains two folders, one with high resolution images suitable for printing up to 16" x 20" and one with low resolution pictures suitable for email or websites. Both folders contain the same identical images.

  • Special artistic effects such as vignetting, sepia toned or watercolor/paint on select images at photographer's discretion (in addition to the original image) (you may request special effects on specific images - additional fees may apply).

  • all editing and post processing work, shipping, handling and sales tax cost.

  • complete printing rights to all images; you can reproduce as many as you like in various different sizes, at cost.
