i am very casual and may just show up in my jeans and flip flops or green polka dot wellies. because i am a natural light, location-only photographer, you and i have the opportunity to create something new, fresh and hip because each session is unique. i move fast and i talk a lot. i want to engage your child so they have fun. i prefer an unstructured, spontaneous experience that feels more like friends getting together instead of a stuffy photo shoot with squirmy unhappy kids. i may set the stage but will wait to see where your child takes it so we "catch it as it is", not force it.

i like to look around for light, texture, funk and quirk and try to get the kids involved as much as possible. they love it and they are good at it! thinking outside of the box is what we do best and i am game for just about any location.

i am not in a hurry so our session will typically last *-* ish hours, i leave it up to the kids. there is always time for a wardrobe change, snack, rest or bathroom break.
