Maui Wedding Photographer Bill Stockwell has been photographing weddings for 35 years. His relaxed and natural style has made him one of the most sought after photographers in San Francisco and Maui.

My most important task as a wedding photojournalist, is to catch the true personalities of the wedding participants. The best wedding pictures grab us all on an emotional level. Boring, statistical and overly posed photos are unacceptable, as far as I'm concerned. I keep a very low profile at an event, my goal being to photograph people when they are not aware of my presence.

Every wedding has its own distinct personality and flavor. There is no such thing as 'just another wedding.' All women plan for this day their entire lives. For me, photography is more of a passion than a profession."
