About Laura Tarquino

Ever since I was in High school I love photography. I bought my first camera at a garage sale for $25 when I was 17 years old. I was a kid that stayed after school processing images until the janitors left to lock up the school. Opening film at that time was like candy to a child. I couldn't wait to see what amazing images I could create and develop. That was a time when my art teacher decided to make a photography class. It was the very basics of basics. Having finished my core studies early, I spend half of my days as a senior in high school learning photography. From there I wen to college and graduated with best and outstanding portfolio in my class. I spend years assisting many different kinds of photographers from advertising to commercial. I was eager to learn the life and styles all types of photographers. What kind will I be? What do I love to photograph? I soon discovered what I loved best to do which was to photograph people.

It's been over 8 years already since I graduated college and I never would of guessed that I would be making a living photographing people today! I wouldn't do anything different if I had to because I absolutely adore my work. I enjoy my experiences with meeting and getting to know great souls. Documenting the lives and happiness of other people through the medium of photography has become the passion of my life...And I'm always hungry for more.
