A Cappella Singers

The Creations are comprised of five versatile experienced group members able to command any stage. The cornerstone of their musical repertoire is popular golden oldies, sweet soul harmony sounds, and lesser-known doo-wop collector's material. They bring the unique harmonic blend of sounds of the past that echoed throughout New York City streets to the present. Each individual member contributes their experience and talent to make The Creations a solid top-rated vocal harmony quintet.

Alex Trisano
- 2nd Tenor/ Lead-Original founding Member of The Creations in 1959.Alex was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx.He reformed The Creations in 1971, lasting 3 years,and then again, in 1986, lasting with several personnel changes to the present .During his non-Creations years,Alex sang with various groups including The Heart Spinners and the brotherhood. Ray Orta - 1st&2nd-Tenor/Lead-Ray was also born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx.He started singing while attending Jr.High School 123. He was a member of The Vibes in high school, a group managed by Clay Cole. After The Vibes dissolved, he joined The Belairs. Ray has enjoyed time with various groups including The Eternals and Eons.in 2002 he joined The Creations.

Mario Rodriguez
- Baritone/2nd Tenor/Lead-Mario's singing career started in the glee club of Herman Riders PS 98 Jr,high school in The Bronx.He was a member of The Creations when they reformed in 1986.Next came The group Free Expression and then back to The Creations in 1997.

April Stewart
- Soprano/first tenor/Lead-April was born in Manhattan and raised in Flushing Queens.she has only about a year and a half exposure to this style of vocal harmony, having studied classical voice since her teenage years,though she has performed in rock bands and musical theater.She was performing on a Manhattan subway station where Alex Trisano discovered her,brought her to The Creations and taught her the complex chords of this musical style.

Bay Pesante
- Bass/Baritone/Lead-Bay was born and raised in Manhattan started singing at 15 and was the first bass singer The Chessmen had.over the years he sang with several vocal groups.Bay also sang with Luis Lymon.He is now the smooth Velvet Bass singer of the five lead group The Creations.
