Francesco Marchetti - Interfaith Minister
mourningministry.com Mourning Ministry is a Divine Idea born in the mind of God, shortly after I attended a worship service on grief, officiated by some of my seminary classmates. One morning while I was sitting at the computer typing in my journal, I experienced these surges and sensations of energy moving throughout my entire body. I passed by a similar occurrence once before but nothing of this magnitude. Initially I felt that fright or flight feeling, the only thing I could do was just sit there. I thought for a moment that my blood pressure was rising, then next I thought it was dropping. I could not understand why I was experiencing theses physiological symptoms, so I began to take some deep breaths. After my third exhalation, I started to receive messages as though someone was talking into my in ear. The messages were clear, concise and yielded a lot of information. I recall typing as fast I could capturing all that was being revealed to me. Thirty minutes later when the whole thing was over, it became incandescently clear after interpreting the information received, what form and shape my ministry would take right down to all of the finite details, truly a profound experience. Hence Mourning Ministry was born. Mourning Ministry acknowledges that death is a natural, inherent and sad, but does not have to be bad. I believe in western culture death can be depicted as something morbid, not mentioned, in contrast to the cycle of birth where one may see actual pictures taken in a delivery room. Death should be discussed and processed, however, I do concede the content may be difficult because it calls forth our individual awareness of how fragile life really is, which causes us to reflect upon our own mortality. Furthermore, from my own personal experience, the passing of a loved one can be very painful, we find ourselves in between the space of, "no longer and not yet." I am convinced that when we engage in relation and extend our love to others, somewhere in the deepest recesses of our unconscious awareness we have already accepted the responsibility of loss. Our hearts grow roots, those roots wrap around the hearts of people we love, when we experience loss the root breaks away and we feel pain, that's a natural response. We are dedicated to helping people touched by loss. to express their thoughts and feelings by creating a meaningful memorial service that celebrates and commemorates the individual life and passage. These sacred ceremonies are powerful tools which enable individuals to express what it is that they are feeling in an outward expression which can and often become the catalyst for their healing transformation. We look forward to serving you. For More Information Please Visit The Link Below mourningministry.com
