Bickley Rivera, as "Island Girl", brings you the soothing sounds of the tropical steel drums, performing classics such as "Yellow Bird", fun pop tunes like "Tequila!", reggae favorites "One Love" and island songs "Teaser", "Dolla-Dolla". With Bickley's improvisational style, you will enjoy every genre and reminise of your trips to the Caribbean, or just melt away under a Florida coconut tree!

In her previous group, "Cuba Libre", she was keyboardist and lead singer, originating and producing "Caribbean Madness", the only Caribbean Riverboat Cruise series on the Connecticut River, which sold out for 5 seasons.

Ms. Rivera has appeared on television, many large-scale festivals, and numerous radio stations as well as some stations in Canada and overseas. She studied Steel Pan at Saint Petersburg College and has performed at such establishments as the Ritz Carlton, Legends Field (Yankee Training Stadium) and the St. Pete Times Forum as well as other greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota area locations, festivals, corporate events, pool parties and weddings.

Island Girl recently completed a tour in Connecticut wher she will return for July & August 2009. Let the steel pan sound lure you into a relaxing state or perhaps energize your rhythmic soul.
