Thus far I have organized local events for weekly consumption since 1994, I have stopped promoting locally since '06 when another group came in and took my venue away, I was pretty ready anyway after all that time running things. But I still possess several tables that I can deliver and set up for parties for a fee. I also enjoy a pretty hefty advantage as an experienced player to demonstrate my ability, I am virtually untouchable especially on my own machines since they are in optimal playing condition. Pristine shape actually which means extra fast action which plays into my hands all too well (literally) and gets people interested at first but ultimately scares them off when they see they have no chance of competing, so I usually lay down a bit to keep them interested, you see.

My equipment is up to date for the pro or the average player who wants the latest greatest, and also state of the art, like the blacklite machine I own where the built in light makes the balls, men (player figures) and handles glow profusely under the properly darkened conditions surrounding the table. It's almost blinding and the balls leave a tracer light when they are speeding along the surface from a blasted shot. So cool. The party host can even charge any where from a quarter to 5 quarters for each game to offset rental and setup costs if desired. Tournaments can be held if competition is heating up, perhaps some of the attendees are experienced or want to learn some rules of organized play (see VIFA.com for a complete rules guide if you are curious about this.
