Funny Wedding Picture Poses?

My best friend is getting married next summer and we are trying to come up with unusual and funny pictures the photographer can take. We have been told of a few such as the bride being held up buy the the grooms men and the groom being held up by all the bridesmaids. The groom fainting with all the groomsmen trying to catch him. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Try the bride taking the gater off the groom or putting fake ball and chains on them.

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
My parents have one of Dad with one leg out a window and His best man holding his arm to keep him from escaping.

I also saw pictures where the groom removes the garther with his teeth- hilarious! Just be sure to get the bride's face while it's happening and him with garther in teeth afterwards.

My husband did one with he and his dad looking at his dads watch. His dad was the best man.

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
One of the ones that I am going to TRY and get is a picture of me and all my bridesmaids hitchhiking on the side of a dirt road as if the limo had broken down..and another is my then 1yr old daughter peeking out from under my skirt and the same with my little english bully. Another I just thought of is the girls and the bride pretending to do the can-can. Ones I'd always wanted (but there are now wheat fields in our immediate area) is everyone running here and there throughout a wheat feild. Make sure it's dry and just hasn't rained..LoL.. Or if it's an outdoor wedding..find some big trees and play peek a boo with the camera everyone from behind different trees..then maybe one of the bride and groom being caught kissing behind one of the trees. Your imagination and what you are willing to do are the only limit. I just want to have a blast that day and have a blast looking back at the pics. Good luck! And have fun! Those are always the best ones..

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
It depends on how comfortable your wedding party is, but I have seen and we are going to do the pose where the guys are wearing nothing but their boxers, tux tops and sunglasses. We wanted some goofy poses. So I want to thank everyone else for the ideas.

Great Picture for garter take off when the groom goes to take off the garter have him go under the dress and have a thong underwear under his sleave and instead of pulling off the garter right away have he come up holding the thong in his hand like he took them off of her. It makes him look good and a good laugh for her and everyone in the hall. Or handcuff him and make him take the garter off thats funny to.!

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
I have seen several funny wedding shots.
*One is right outside the church doors. The Groom looks like he trying to get away and his groomsmen are holding him by his coat.
*The Father of the Bride holding a shot gun on the groom and pointing inside the door. Another version is the bride standing near by " waiting on her groom" while " Daddy" shows him the way with the gun.
*The groom wrote on the bottom of his shoes "Help Me" so when he knelt to pray the bottom of his shoes were seen by the guests.
* Have a huge pair of "granny panties" for the groom to get instead of the garter.
* Get the entire wedding party to wear the "bubba" teeth that are popular now. I saw a bride and groom pic with those. Too funny. I'm thinking of doing this for a spin on the christmas pictures :-) Definately Different!
Hope this gives you a few funny ideas.

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
I great picture idea would be to have all the groomsmen riding a mule (the same mule) in speedos with little hankerchiefs around there faces as if they were western warriors on the prowl looking to put the hurt on someone. Then get a picture of the bride and groom jousting, medievil style. I'm talking for real too. Get them on some mules ( I adore mules incase you haven't noticed) put a joust in there grubby little hands and have them charge each other. Granted some one might get hurt, but what's important is that all your friends will chuckle at your pain and misfortune.

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
Try one with the Bride's father holding his empty pockets out, another good one is of the Bride's father or mother giving the Groom a lecture and shaking thier finger. ALWAYS, try to get the Best Man dancing with the Groom

Re: Funny Wedding Picture Poses?
Our family is big on pictures of unlikely couples holding up the marriage license, as if they were the ones who'd just gotten married, like grandma with a guy in his 20's, or the groom and best man. I guess it depends on your (and your guests') sense of humor. I also think it's cute to get a shot of the bridesmaids wearing the groomsmens' jackets over their dresses.
